Consumer Rights: Parliament approves new EU-wide rules for on-line shopping

Although I believe that consumers right should be protected, I don’t share the idea of the necessity of EU wide legislation protectingonline shoppers which will also specify rules on delivery and digital downloads.

This is another attempt to create new EU legislation where domestic legislation is extant and sufficient and will create unnecesary burden to small and medium sized businesses.

Member States’ consumer protection rules must be the prerogative of the member state
